Dr Amanda Hutchinson is a clinical psychologist with roles in both teaching and research at UniSA. Amanda is dedicated to improving the quality of life of cancer survivors and reducing the psychosocial burden of cancer.
Amanda is the Professorial Lead: Research Education in Justice & Society at UniSA. She is a member of the Psycho-oncology Co-operative Research Group’s (PoCoG) Scientific Advisory Committee and the Australian and New Zealand Urogenital and Prostate Cancer Trials Group.
Amanda is committed to the scientist-practitioner model and the intersection of research and practice in higher education. She has supervised more than 50 student research projects to completion and is currently supervising students in the areas of cancer survivorship, health behaviour and clinical psychology.
