Navodana is a senior lecturer in construction management at Adelaide University. She has obtained a BSc first-class honours degree in Quantity Surveying from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka and a PhD in Engineering from Western Sydney University, Australia. Navodana is a recipient of the 'Green Thinkerz International Outstanding Researcher Award 2024-25', 'Outstanding Reviewer Award in the Emerald Literati Awards 2025', 'CIB Best Doctoral Research Award 2022', ‘3MT People’s Choice Award 2021’, and ‘Award for Excellence on Higher Degree Research Study (2020)’.
My reserach focuses on the nexus between digital technologies and sustainability. My key reserach explores on the application of blockchain in sustainable construction, particularly focusing on carbon emissions and circular economy. I am also engaged in research on 'Women in Construction' to promote gender equality in construction.
