Dilmi is a PhD researcher in Construction Management at the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering, University of Adelaide. She has graduated in BSc (Hons.) in Quantity Surveying at University of Moratuwa with a First-class. Afterwards, she has worked in the industry as a quantity surveyor in a South Korean based large-scale construction organization assigned to the proposed construction of the largest private investment in Sri Lanka. Followingly, she has served as a temporary lecturer at the Department of Building Economics, University of Moratuwa prior to starting her higher studies at the University of Adelaide.
