Prof Chousalkar has a research interest in microbiology, Food safety and Molecular diagnostics. Kapil is currently leading food safety research group at the Roseworthy campus of the University of Adelaide. Kapil’s group’s research uses genomics, molecular biology, epidemiology, animal models, field studies and intervention strategies to address broad range of issues related to Salmonella and Campylobacter spp. with aim to understand the zoonosis.
