Dr Siyuan Jia is an early-career researcher at Adelaide University School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, based at the Roseworthy Campus. He completed his PhD in 2025, with a focus on enhancing the efficacy of live attenuated Salmonella vaccines in poultry. His research expertise lies in microbiology, molecular biology, avian immunology, and vaccine development. Dr Jia’s work integrates both in vitro and in vivo approaches to improve vaccine delivery strategies and immune responses in poultry. His research has led to multiple publications and supports broader goals of improving poultry health, reducing Salmonella load, and promoting sustainable animal production.
