Rajeev Kamineni is passionate about movies and education and fortunate to work in both these industries. Currently, the Academic Director of the Academy by Deloitte, Rajeev was instrumental in redesigning a MBA program and launching a new MBA program while being a visiting professor in India, he was also a visiting Professor in Singapore, South Africa, Japan, and Dubai. Rajeev’s research focuses on the intersection of entrepreneurship and creative arts in the international business domain, his work has been published in leading academic journals and industry practitioner publications. Prior to joining Adelaide University, Rajeev was the Executive Director of a prominent film production company in India where he lead the marketing and global release of over 14 movies, including the award-winning Naan Ee and Thozha. During this time, he also managed multiple sporting teams, including "Hyderabad Hotshots", the winning team of the 2013 Indian Badminton League and “Kerala Blasters”, the runner-up team of the 2014 Indian Super (Soccer) League. He currently serves as the District Governor of Rotary International. Apart from teaching, Rajeev enjoys movies (one new movie per day), cricket (unfit to play but watches a lot) and wild life conservation, especially saving the mountain gorillas (silverbacks are arguably the most beautiful).
