I am a PhD Candidate within the Gene Editing Technology and Therapeutics Laboratory at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) and the University of Adelaide, working within the research groups of Dr Fatwa Adikusuma and Dr Alexandra McCarron (Cystic Fibrosis Airway Research Group, Women's and Children's Hospital).

My research focuses on developing a mutation-agnostic gene therapy for cystic fibrosis (CF) that aims to correct the underlying genetic defects that cause the disease, rather than managing symptoms alone. The work combines gene editing and targeted gene insertion technologies with the goal of producing a safe, effective, and universal therapeutic strategy that can ultimately be translated to the clinic.
