- Professor Waye’s research interests are rich and varied. Reflecting the globalised state of commerce and the legal profession, Professor Waye’s research incorporates international and comparative elements, and spans subject matter such as multilateral and bilateral treaties affecting the wine industry, comparisons between the Australian and United States’ systems of criminal procedure, matters affecting access to justice in England, Australia and the United States, and rights attendant upon dissolution of corporations in England, Australia and the United States. Much of Professor Waye’s research has been process oriented, that is concerned with the efficacy of legal process. Professor Waye’s current research examines the trading of legal claims.In addition Professor Waye has recently been heavily involved in the publication of a book on Global Wine Regulation.
