Dr. Udara Ranasinghe is a lecturer in Construction and Project Management. She has taught a wide range of subjects in construction and project management, including project risk management, sustainability in construction and building surveying. Udara holds a BSc (Honours) in Facilities Management degree from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, and She completed her PhD in Building from University of Newcastle, Australia.
Her research interests are in workplace health and safety, risk management and resilience engineering, particularly in the construction context. She is also interested in sustainability in the built environment, such as sustainable materials and energy management. Before joining the UniSA, she was a research assistant and a tutor at the University of Newcastle. She also worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Building Economics at the University of Moratuwa.
