Dr. Tim Chen is a leading expert in the fields of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Augmented Reality (AR). As the head of the Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory at the School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, his research focuses on human-machine interfaces, human-AI interaction, and medical AI. Dr. Chen has a wealth of experience in interdisciplinary collaboration and has worked closely with content creators, mechanical engineers, and healthcare professionals.

Dr. Tim Chen is an expert in Human-Computer Interaction and Extended Reality, leading the Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory at the School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, University of Adelaide. His primary research interest lies in utilising emerging technologies to design interactive AI systems that seamlessly cooperate and collaborate with knowledge workers. His recent work focuses on spatial computing and human-centered AI in healthcare.
