Sylvia Sarumaha is a PhD candidate at the Adelaide Business School, University of Adelaide. Her research explores the role of the Community of Practice (CoP) in shaping the internal auditing profession, with a particular focus on new entry-level internal auditors in the government sector. The study examines the critical soft skills necessary for early-career internal auditors and investigates how CoP facilitates skill development, professional adaptation, and knowledge-sharing within the public sector.
