Surbhi is interested in modelling impacts of genetic variants implicated in developmental brain abnormalities in patient derived cells and neuronal models. Her master's research project focussed on exploring mitochondrial dysfunction as a cause for brain developmental abnormalities in the Australia Cerebral Palsy Biobank.
