Dr So Yeon Kim

Dr Kim's research focuses on public international law, with particular emphasis on the law of the sea, international environmental law, third-world approaches to international law and international relations. Her works are published in the International and Comparative Law Quarterly, Max Planck Yearbook of United Nations Law, Journal of the History of International Law, Legal Studies, International Environmental Agreements: Politics, Law and Economics and so forth. Dr Kim has also advised states on a range of international legal issues, including territorial and maritime disputes, climate change, the law of treaties, and the law of the sea.

Dr Kim is the Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Dr Kim teaches the Law of the Sea, International Environmental Law, Climate Change Law, and International Human Rights Law at Adelaide Law School. She also has teaching experiences in Public International Law and Legal Research Skills.
