My research focuses on military history and memory studies, with particular attention to commemoration, public memory, and the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) during the Second World War.
The aim of this research is to examine complex historical figures and explore how families, communities, institutions, and veterans’ organisations negotiate contested legacies.
Australian military history; RAAF history; Anzac memory; social history; war memorials; trauma and remembrance; and national identity.
