A/Prof Shruti Sardeshmukh focuses on enabling innovation and entrepreneurship for high growth in an inclusive manner - for women entrepreneurs, SMEs and start-ups.
Shruti has collaborated internationally with researchers from the US, Australia and India. Her research has been published in Organizational Research Methods, Academy of Management Learning and Education, Human Resource Management, and Journal of Small Business Management. She is a member of the Academy of Management ENT, RM, and HR divisions.  She also serves on the editorial review board of Family Business Review (A) and The International Journal of Human Resource Management (A).  
Shruti was born and raised in Mumbai, India. After doing an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (India), she worked in India, and later, during the dot com era in IT start-ups, in the USA.  She then went on to complete her PhD from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in the USA. She worked as an Assistant Professor (equivalent to a lecturer in Australian universities) at the Ball State University’s (Indiana, USA) Entrepreneurship Department.
