Dr Rongrong Yu is an Enterprise Fellow of Architecture at Adelaide University. Her research interests cover architectural computing, design cognition/neurocognition, and modern methods of construction. She is passionate about leveraging digital technologies such as VR/AR, digital twins and generative design to support sustainable design and construction processes, and exploring designers’ cognitive behaviour in digital design environments via use of protocol and biometric analysis. Dr Yu’s research has been broadly published in high-impact journals and major international conferences in the architecture and design computing fields. She is co-director of the Building and Urban Informatics Lab, within Adelaide University’s Australian Research Centre for Interactive and Virtual Environments.
