Dr Richa Gulati is a Lecturer in Management (Project Management) at Adelaide University, bringing over a decade of combined industry and academic experience. With a strong foundation in project management, she bridges research and practice through industry-informed teaching and applied scholarship.
 
Dr Gulati has been part of the Adelaide academic community for nearly seven years. She teaches across undergraduate, postgraduate and MBA programs, including Risk Assessment and Management, Portfolio and Program Management, People and Organisations, and Fundamentals of Project Management. 
 
Her research focuses on efficiency in project management processes, soft skills and leadership, and project management education. Dr Gulati actively disseminates her work through leading international conferences and engages in research that informs both theory and practice.
 
Before transitioning to academia, Dr Gulati gained substantial industry experience across education technology, project execution, and consulting. At the National University of Singapore’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, she managed multiple technology-enabled education initiatives, including mobile learning programs, online assessment tools, and student management systems. She has also worked as a Business Consultant analysing market potential for IoT products, and as a Project Executive at Unilever Singapore, contributing to brand adaptation, cost-reduction initiatives, and product management.
 
Through her commitment to education, industry engagement, and impactful research, Dr Richa Gulati continues to contribute to the field of project management while shaping future project leaders through teaching, mentoring, and scholarly work.
