My research is focussed on nutrient cycling in the soil-plant system and in particular the factors that influence the cycling of C, N and P.
Members of my research team have conducted work on the effect of environmental factors such as soil salinity and soil water content and the effect of residue properties such as nutrient concentration on nutrient availability, microbial biomass C, N and P and soil respiration.
