My professional objective is to be engaged in development of environmentally - friendly and cost - reducing soil technologies aimed at enhancing food production and productivity.Given the fact that the decline in soil fertility is the key challenge in crop production; my immediate goal is to continue my career in soil science with respect to challenges experienced in crop and soil productivity. Soil fertility has not been given adequate attention hence there is a shortage of scientists in this field in Lesotho and as result the country is experiencing food insecurity. The intention is therefore to build on my skills in developing/ generating, testing and evaluating promising soil management technologies for sustainable soil productivity.
