I am a PhD candidate in the Targeted Leukaemia Research Group (TLRG) based at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI). My research focuses on treatment response in the blood cancer Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia (CML). I am investigating cell metabolism in the hope of identifying novel therapeutic targets that will improve treatment outcomes in CML patients.

My background is in biochemistry and molecular biology with a keen interest in oncogenic transformation. The focus of my PhD thesis is cell metabolism in CML and how this may be implicated in treatment resistance.
