Kate Toone is a lecturer (research and teaching) in JUS. They began their career in community services in peer work after participating in a program for young mothers. Kate’s clinical work has spanned across the out of home care sector, youth, suicide prevention, maternal mental health, chronic illness and grief and loss. Their research interests include gender and sexuality, activism, reproductive justice, sex work and alternative relationship structures.
Kate is part time whilst continuing to work in a clinical role.
