Ms Judith Merritt
Clinical Education Coordinator
School of Allied Health and Human Performance
College of Health
I have worked as an OT mainly in the community. I have worked in aged care, employment placement for people with disabilities, vocational rehabilitation and private practice for children in urban and country South Australia and North Queensland. I have taught occupational therapy to undergraduate students at UniSA, James Cook University and Curtin University and I have been an allied health academic at the Broken Hill UDRH.
I am strongly committed to developing the role and scope of occupational therapy in mainstream schools within my current role as Clinical Placement Coordinator for the Unisa-Orion Partnership Student Occupational Therapy Service.
My research will investigate practice guidelines for mainstream classroom teachers to support pupil self regulation at school.
