Dr Joanna Sundstrom is currently the Research & Training Manager for the South Australian ImmunoGENomics Cancer Institute (SAiGENCI) at The University of Adelaide and South Australian Health & Medical Research Institute. Dr Sundstrom uses her scientific research experience and project management skills to shape and deliver SAiGENCI's Graduate Program and provide research management support to Prof Lisa Butler, SAiGENCI's Resistance Prevention Program Lead.Dr Sundstrom has over ten years of scientific research experience having completed a PhD in plant molecular biology and postdoctoral research in the field of wine microbiology. Joanna's previous position (2017-2022) was Centre Manager for the Australian Research Council Training Centre for Innovative Wine Production at The University of Adelaide. She enjoyed combining her scientific background and research management skills to support the Centre’s Director, academic researchers and PhD students and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with the Centre’s stakeholders.
