South Australian Immunogenomics Cancer Institute
Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences
Dr. Jia Pei Lim is a postdoctoral researcher at the South Australian immunoGENomics Cancer Institute (SAiGENCI), University of Adelaide, with a strong background in cancer epigenetics and 3D chromatin biology. Her research focuses on histone methyltransferases and chromatin-modifying complexes in cancer, working under the supervision of Dr. Qi Zhang.
Dr. Lim has led high-impact research across institutions in Singapore, Sweden, and Australia. She completed her PhD in Cancer Biology at the National University of Singapore and previously held a postdoctoral position at Karolinska Institutet. Her work has resulted in nine peer-reviewed publications, including a co-first author paper in Nature Communications and a co-authored paper in Science Translational Medicine. Her research has been cited over 370 times (H-index: 9).
She is actively involved in the scientific community through conference presentations (e.g. CSHL, EMBL, AACR), professional memberships, and collaborative research with leading institutes such as RIKEN and A*STAR. Dr. Lim also serves on the SAiGENCI Early Career Researcher (ECR) Committee.
