Dr Janean Robinson

School of Education

College of Education, Behavioural and Social Sciences


Janean is an Adjunct Research Fellow with the University of South Australia and a member of CRESI. She is a member of UniSA’s School Exclusions Study research team and has worked closely in educational research for many years with Professors Barry Down and John Smyth. Before her time at UniSA Janean was a lecturer, tutor, and researcher at Murdoch University and a secondary school teacher in government schools throughout Western Australia. Janean is an advocate for social justice and her activist research work is centred on sharing the narrative voices of teachers and students.
