My overall teaching philosophy is to foster learners’ autonomy and promote career readiness and leadership. I have conceived and implemented effective teaching approaches that foster students' autonomy and promote career readiness and leadership. In particular, I have created a variety of authentic learning experiences including building collaborations with the Adelaide Medical School and the Adelaide Law School, developing language partnerships among students from linguistically diverse backgrounds, creating online resources for flexible and self-directed learning and engaging students as partners in translating articles.

I have won the 2019 Stephen Cole the Elder Awards for Excellence https://www.adelaide.edu.au/learning/teaching-awards/stephen-cole-the-elder-awards-for-excellence#2019-recipients and have been nominated for the Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT).
