My study aims to explore the APSIM model framework in agriculture to address forecasting uncertainty and resolve structural errors in APSIM. An advanced Bayesian framework can help identify and quantify structural errors in models. This research will ensure that predictive power is based on reality, thereby reducing structural errors in the APSIM model, providing high-accuracy forecasts, and supporting precision management in Australia’s food industry.
