Ebony Proud is a Lecturer in Interior Architecture at Adelaide University, with a teaching approach closely informed by professional design practice. Her experience spans the interior design and delivery of commercial, lifestyle, and residential projects, people and culture advisory within global architecture practice, and interior architecture education across foundation to advanced levels.
 
Ebony's research explores the relationship between design education, professional practice, and material realisation in an increasingly digital context.  A particular focus of her work is how interior architecture education can respond to technological change while sustaining human agency and professional judgement, material understanding and detailing, and meaningful industry partnerships.
 
Ebony is actively engaged in curriculum development for Adelaide University and is currently undertaking a Doctorate of Education with a dual focus on interiors pedagogy and practice.
