Welcome to my homepage at the University of South Australia. I am located at City East Campus, where I am an Enterprise Fellow at the Alliance for Research in Exercise, Nutrition and Activity (ARENA).
My research seeks to identify the healthiest way to spend our time across daily activities such as sleeping, screen time and exercise. Because there are only 24 hours in any day, this involves a balancing act between activities. My work develops novel analytical models that explore how to get the balance right, not only for one aspect of health, but for overall health and wellbeing.
I am a DECRA Research Fellow (2023–2025), President of the international Compositional Data Association and Treasurer of the International Network of Time-Use Epidemiologists.
