My research work has been writing code to analyse sequencing data for various custom experiments. My favourite things to do are looking for novel patterns (eg in gene regulation) in DNA, and making graphs of genome wide changes.

I currently work 2 days a week in research 3 for SA Health in the TAU team, the first group to be NATA accredited for diagnostic exome sequencing in Australia.

My current interest is VariantGrid, a genetic database and web graphical interface to help scientists diagnose genetic diseases better, faster and cheaper.
