Danny holds a PhD degree from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands and MSc in System Engineering and Policy Analysis from the same university. Before joining UniSA Business, Danny was a senior lecturer at Lancaster University Management School, UK where he delivered teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate levels as well as workshops for practitioners.  
Danny has done research and consultancy in the field of entrepreneurship and policy for regional growth. Danny’s research interests include: start-ups, incubators, university commercialisation, social network and regional development. His research papers have been published in peer reviewed international journals such as Journal of Small Business Management, Technovation, Technology Forecasting and Social Change, Small Business Economics, etc.
