Daniel is an Associate Lecturer of Occupational Therapy at the University of Adelaide who has a passion for ensuring evidence-based practice is utilised in service provision. Daniel's research interests include early intervention, neurodiversity-affirming practices, and a holistic view on health.Daniel is a PhD Candidate through The University of South Australia looking at how we can best support Occupational Therapists to be neurodiversity-affirming for children and their families.

Research interests:

  • Paediatric and early intervention occupational therapy
  • Autism and developmental conditions
  • Neurodiversity-affirming research
  • Using co-design in research

I am the course coordinator for the following courses:

  • Advanced Evidence Based Practice (Third-year Occupational Therapy)
  • Occupational Perspectives of Health B (Second-year Occupational Therapy)

I have further teaching experience in common allied health courses that are taken by occupational therapy, speech pathology and physiotherapy students.
