I am a philosopher based in Tarndanya/Adelaide. More information can be found here and also at antonyeagle.org. 🐜🦅

My research is mainly in ‘theoretical’ philosophy: metaphysics, epistemology/philosophy of science, philosophy of logic and language, philosophy of probability, and philosophy of physics. I research and supervise in all these areas, and their early modern history (especially Descartes, Cavendish, and Hume). I also have research interests in philosophy of religion, philosophy of economics, and decision theory.

I am Editor-in-Chief of the Australasian Journal of Philosophy (2022–27) and founding editor of the Gavin David Young Lectures in Philosophy.
