Dr Anna Murray
Lecturer
School of Dentistry
College of Health
I graduated from University College Cork in 2003 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Hons). I then completed a year of vocational training in Ireland, before moving to the UK to work in a general practice, serving National Health Service patients. I returned to Ireland in 2006 and emigrated to Australia in 2008. I have worked mainly in general dental practice, until taking on a clinical tutoring role at the Adelaide Dental School in 2019. Since 2021, I have been involved in coordination of the third year of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery programme, as well as clinical teaching in both the third and fourth years. Since being appointed as a lecturer in May 2024, I am also coordinating the Person Centered Care and Communication curriculum across the first to third years in the programme. I completed a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Education in 2023, and continue to work one day a week in private practice (limited to pediatrics).
