I'm a medical anthropologist all about improving population health. Social research, systems thinking, education innovation and collaboration are my go-to tools for creating change.

I’m trained in the medical sciences and anthropology, have experience working in state and federal policy making, and my work has reached audiences via government policy, academic journals, and the global media.

I gravitate to topics that call for multidisciplinary collaboration, especially chronic conditions (including post-viral conditions), women’s health, planetary health, food systems, and emerging technologies.

I'm an Associate Professor in the College of Systems and Society at ANU, and an Adjunct A/Prof at Adelaide University, where I teach into the medical school and supervise graduate student research.
