BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH INTERESTS
Updated 27th January 2021
My name is Pedro Henrique Ribeiro Santiago and I’m a quantitative psychologist, currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Adelaide. I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Public Health. In my master’s degree, I investigated the feasibility of a brief mindfulness-based intervention for primary care professionals in the Brazilian national health system. In my PhD candidature, I studied the validity and cross-cultural validity of western developed psychological instruments for Aboriginal Australian populations.
My research focuses on modern psychometric methods to advance scientific measurement in health and social sciences. My methodological interests include: network psychometrics; Bayesian inference; Rasch models; Causal Inference, among others.
