Dr Crawford is an early career researcher and clinical trials coordinator for the Neonatal Research Group, The Robinson Research Institute. She is affiliate lecturer in the School of Medicine, The University of Adelaide and also holds a joint appointment in the Women’s and Babies Theme, South Australian Health Medical Research Institute. Dr Crawford completed her Honours (BHSc) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2016 and her PhD (Medicine) in 2020. In addition to pursuing her ongoing research program focusing on improving the safety of transfusion in the preterm newborn, she has clinical trials management responsibility for NHRMC, MRFF, and Thrasher Foundation funded multicentre perinatal RCTs conducted within the Department of Neonatal Medicine, The Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Adelaide.
