Danielle is currently undertaking her Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine under the supervision of Prof Michael Stark, Dr. Chad Andersen and Dr. Tara Crawford. Her research focuses on the effect of red blood cell transfusions on cerebral oxygenation in the preterm newborn. She is passionate about improving care for this vulnerable population. Her research aims to to provide the first steps to individualizing transfusion practice.
