Kathryn Bowd is Dean, Students in the College of Creative Arts, Design and Humanities at Adelaide University.

I am the Dean, Students in the College of Creative Arts, Design and Humanities at Adelaide University.

I have two main areas of research focus. One is non-metropolitan news media, with an emphasis on relationships between news media and regional communities, professional practice in journalism, changing practice in journalism and news and local identity. I have an extensive professional background in journalism, and my PhD focused on exploring relationships between community and newspapers in regional areas of Australia.

The second area of research focus is work integrated learning and curriculum development, within the broader context 0f scholarship of learning and teaching.
