Dr Rick Wiechula is a Senior Lecturer in the Adelaide Nursing School and the Director of the Centre for Evidence-based Practice South Australia : A Joanna Briggs Centre of Excellence. He is a registered nurse with a clinical background in orthopaedic and plastic surgical nursing. The focus of his teaching is evidence-based practice and in particular knowledge translation and knowledge synthesis. Research activities include wound care, practice improvement and the conduct of systematic reviews.
