Alicia Montgomerie is a senior research associate in the School of Public Health, University of Adelaide, South Australia, as a part of the BetterStart Child Health and Development research group. Alicia is an epidemiologist who specialises in manipulating and analysing large population-based linked administrative data. Over the last 5 years, Alicia has worked as lead analyst on the Better Evidence Better Outcomes Link Data (BEBOLD) platform, one of the most comprehensive population-based linked administrative research databases in Australia, that spans data from health, education, justice, child protection, homelessness, and welfare. She currently works with the South Australian and Victorian governments using linked administrative data to generate evidence to support the reform of the child and family systems.

Alicia works as a research associate in the School of Public Health, University of Adelaide as a part of the BetterStart Child Health and Development research group led by Professor John Lynch. She works on the Better Evidence Better Outcomes Linked Data (BEBOLD) platform, one of the most comprehensive population-based linked administrative research databases in Australia. Her research focuses on investigating children that come in contact with the child protection system and trying to identify children early that are at risk of maltreatment. As well as exploring their health, developmental, academic and behavioural outcomes by linking to other administrative datasets.
