Lisa Matricciani is a lecturer in Nursing within Clinical & Health Sciences at UniSA. Lisa is qualified as a Registered Nurse and Podiatrist, with relevant clinical experience in both professions. Lisa completed a Bachelor of Podiatry (with Honours, 1st class) and Bachelor of Nursing, followed by a Master of Nursing and then a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Lisa has 43 publications cited 2,451 times and a h-index of 20 (Scopus 10/11/2024), with a research focus on the importance of lifestyle behaviours, particularly sleep, for cardiometabolic health. Lisa’s emerging research interest is in undertaking clinical trials that utilise novel technologies and approaches to optimise patients' overall health and wellbeing.
