I am a PhD student in Chemical Sciences at the Adelaide University. My research focuses on the photocatalytic degradation of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) using semiconductor nanomaterials for water remediation. Prior to joining the AU, I conducted research at the University of California, Irvine, where I investigated the distribution and environmental occurrence of PFAS in water systems across the United States. My current research aims to develop light-driven strategies for the degradation of persistent organic pollutants and to better understand the mechanisms of PFAS transformation in aquatic environments.
