I am a Research Fellow in Australian School of Petroleum, the University of Adelaide.

Working in the Formation Damage & EOR Research Group at Australian School of Petroleum, I perform research on mathematical and numerical modelling of single- and multi-phase flow in porous media, formation damage in oil/gas/geothermal reservoirs and aquifers, low-salinity waterflooding, etc.

Research Interests

  • Theoretical development and mathematical modelling

- Transport phenomena in porous media: multiphase flows

- Population balance models for suspension transport

- Stochastic modelling of flow in rocks

- Analytical and numerical methods

- Exact and asymptotic solutions

  • Engineering applications

- Fines migration induced formation damage in oil/gas/geothermal reservoirs and aquifers

- Drilling fluid invasion and external cake formation

- Well injectivity/productivity analysis

- Low-salinity waterflooding

- Unconventional resources and recovery

- Propagation of bacteria, viruses and contaminants in groundwater
