Yingxin Xia’s research focuses on the relationship between people and nature in urban environments, with urban park systems serving as a key medium for understanding and guiding urban transformation.

Drawing on interdisciplinary perspectives from green infrastructure, urban ecology, and urban functional space planning, her doctoral research employs multi-source data to explore the spatial dynamics of human-nature interactions in urban settings. Through this work, she aims to contribute to more resilient, inclusive, and ecologically responsive urban social-ecological spaces.
