Yang Fei
Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology
His current research interests include the formation control of multi-agent systems, sliding mode control, and neural network adaptive control for theoretical research and the control of three-wheel Omni-directional robots for practical applications.
In April 2021, Yang's work 'Robust Formation Control for Multi-Agent Systems: A Reference Correction Based Approach' was marked as an ‘Academic Excellence Impact’ publication by ECMS.
Yang is now a reviewer for a number of journals, including Automatica, IEEE Transactions Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems l: Regular Papers, Nonlinear Dynamics, ISA Transactions, Applied Ocean Research and Robotica.
In July 2022, Yang was awarded the "Dean’s Commendation for Doctoral Thesis Excellence" for his Ph.D. Thesis entitled "Robust and Cooperative Formation Control of Nonlinear Mult-Agent Systems". He was then selected as the Valedictorian for the graduation ceremony in September 2022.
Starting from 2023, Yang bagan his new journey as a research fellow at Tsinghua University under the supervision of Prof. Xiaobo Qu.
