Dr Xiaolong You is a postdoctoral researcher with the Terahertz Engineering Laboratory at The University of Adelaide. He has been actively collaborating with industry partners across Australia and Canada, such as evoSonic (Australia) and INO (Canada), to apply terahertz technology for industrial applications. His research focuses on 

  • Terahertz non-destructive testing

    Example: Non-destructively quantifying plant leaf relative water content using terahertz waves

  • Metasurfaces for beamforming and polarization control

  • 3D confocal imaging

         Example: Detecting earphones hidden in a charging case

His consistent efforts and technical contributions to academia and industry have been recognized with various prizes, awards, and honours, including
