William is a final year PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide. His research area is at the intersection of soft robotics, continuum mechanics and space robotics. He is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, a graduate of the International Space University and was a visiting researcher at NASA JPL Caltech under the JVSRP during his PhD. He has supervised a total of 21 honours students, developed and lectured space-centric course material and held teaching positions within the university for the last five years.
