Tuyen Vu is currently a third-year PhD student at the School of Computer Science and Information Technology, Adelaide University, under the supervision of Associate Professor Thuc Le.
He holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Technology. Prior to commencing his PhD, he worked as a Software Engineer at a major software development company and a bank in Vietnam.
His current research focuses on the development of causal inference methods and their applications in Bioinformatics, an interdisciplinary field that combines Information Technology and Data Science to address biological problems, particularly in Cancer Research.

With a diverse background and over 10 years of experience, including extensive work in both industry and academic research, he believes he can successfully support students in their learning journeys.

My current research focuses on causal inference methods and their applications in bioinformatics, with particular emphasis on gene regulatory networks, cancer subtype discovery, and broader cancer research.
