Torian is awarded a Bachelor degree of Viticulture and Oenology and an Honours degree of Bachelor of Science at the University of Adelaide. He volunteered as a cellar hand and a vineyard operator during his undergraduate time, and he worked as a technical officer in a laboratory of viticulture science after graduation. His interested area of research is viticulture, and he is currently studying in a phD program which investigates grapevine response to the shading effect under Vitivoltaic systems.
